Hunt: Showdown Twitch Drops New for 2024 are Live

Hunt: Showdown Twitch Drops have just gone live. These are the drops that I covered in detail earlier this week in a different blog post. I covered the details of the drops fully in that post and went over how to get them, so hop over and check that out if you need the full scoop.

What Can I Get from Hunt: Showdown Twitch Drops

The ultimate drop in this session includes a chance to unlock these awesome legendary hunters:

• Lulu
• Kill Buyer
• Billy Story
• Steel Eyed
• The Infected
• Umpire’s Bane

There is also a Winfield M1876 Centennial skin called the “Swallow’s Tail”, as well as the “Molted Curio” Weapon Charm.

Hunt: Showdown Twitch Drops Dates

Twitch Drops will go from 3 pm UTC on February 23rd, 2024, to 3 pm UTC on March 1^st, 2024. To earn these in-game rewards you need only link your account, and watch a Hunt: Showdown Streamer.

These drops will split into two phases:

Phase 1: February 23^rd – February 25^th, 2024

• 60 Minutes for Anniversary Supply Crate
• 120 Minutes for Anniversary Supply Crate
• 180 Minutes for Anniversary Supply Crate
• 240 Minutes for Swallow’s Tail Weapon Skin

Phase 2: February 25^th – March 1^st, 2024

• 60 Minutes for Anniversary Supply Crate
• 120 Minutes for Molted Curio Weapon Charm
• 180 Minutes for Anniversary Supply Crate
• 240 Minutes for Random Legendary Hunter

Random Legendary Hunter from Hunt: Showdown Twitch Drops

This is the most intriguing aspect of these drops, as many hunters are likely excited about a chance at getting the Lulu legendary skin. This and other skins from previous Twitch Drops will be made available again.

The details from the official site state:

• Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown streamer from February 25^th to March 1^st, 2024 for 240 minutes to permanently unlock a random Legendary Hunter.
• Previous Twitch Drop Hunters will have priority. If you are missing one from the list, you will unlock one of:
  • Lulu
  • Kill Buyer
  • Billy Story
  • Steel Eyed
  • The Infected
  • Umpire’s Bane
• If you own all previous Twitch Drops Hunters, you will unlock a random Legendary Hunter. This Hunter comes from the list of Blood Bond Hunters. There is a very small chance you will unlock Bad Hand. See below for more details on How to Unlock Bad Hand.
• If you already own all previous Twitch Drops and Blood Bond Hunters, you will receive 10,000 Hunt Dollars.

What’s in the Supply Crates?

Each Supply Crate contains a random collection of the following items:

• Legendary Hunter Instances (Single Use)
• Weapon Instances
• Tool Instances
• Consumable Instances
• A random amount of Hunt Dollars

Unlocking Bad Hand

According to the rules of the drops, it is possible to unlock Bad Hand. It is only possible to unlock Bad Hand with high odds if certain criteria have been met. The below Reddit post alleges that “If you have all Blood Bond hunters and Twitch Drop hunters you WILL get Bad Hand”

If you have all BB hunters and Twitch Drop hunters you WILL get Bad Hand

This had been speculated when the Twitch Drops were announced, but this post on Reddit seems to prove it. So, if you want to unlock the incredibly rare Bad Hand hunter skin, you must:

• Already have unlocked all previous Twitch Drop hunters.
• Unlocked all Blood Bond Hunters.
• Done the above before collecting the drop.

So, What Did I Get?

I just wanted to share the drops that I got as well as post how to get them, as I know people enjoy that kind of thing. So here is a video I made unlisted on my YouTube just to show that here:

I did manage to unlock Lulu, who did seem to be the “chase” hunter skin for this set of drops. I would have been happy regardless, although I had Kill Buyer at the top of my wishlist. Regardless, I am more than happy with what I received.

Personally, I can’t believe I am saying this, but my favorite drop was the weapon charm. I can see myself actually using this one. I don’t find it invasive, it looks cool, and it was free… That’s three Ws in my opinion.
